Real care for those cattle means freeing them from their improsonment and their final slaughter. Whrn man slaughters innocent creatures, he loses the essential quality of mercy.

The whole sordid saga makes one want to gag! How do human beings allow such an outrage? Poor animals shipped over 8000km in the height of summer in their own waste. What will be the mortality rate be that is sufficient to even consider this to be a viable business? It was reported that further livestock will be loaded in E.L? The MJC declares this to be haraam which futher muddies the water. No religion should be allowed to flourish / embrace such suffering. SICKENING!

Authorities should have sent the ship back out to sea immediately to do a thorough clean of the ship before being allowed back to load feed. Extra port costs would for the ships account. As they did in Australia with the sheep ship which came back after a month after it was forbidden to try taking the long way round Africa to Israel.
