During the same period, 217 accused were convicted and sentenced.</span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">“The Directorate [for Priority Crime Investigation] has observed that corruption remains one of the most serious threats posed by criminals in our beloved country. Shikwane is said to have appointed a company called Big Time Strategy to provide information communication technology audit services in December 2017.</span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shikwane was allegedly advised by municipal officials not to request an IT audit because the audit had just been completed.
