We apologise for the error.</em></span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zamaswazi Majozi appeared in the Germiston Magistrates’ Court on Monday, charged with using her social media accounts to incite violence.</span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a statement issued by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (the Hawks), Majozi is alleged to have circulated content “which resulted in the looting and burning that occurred at Brookside Mall in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal”.</span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Majozi appears to be the person behind the Twitter account, Sphithiphithi Evaluator (@_AfricanSoil). </span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The account is a leading voice in the Radical Economic Transformation (RET) political faction, and has used Twitter anonymously to defend former president Jacob Zuma and fiercely attack his critics.</span>\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/amab-inset-1_ret-influencer-sphithiphithi-evaluator-profile/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1023457\" src=\"https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/amab-inset-1_RET-influencer-Sphithiphithi-Evaluator-profile.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1206\" height=\"984\" /></a> (Source: Twitter)</p>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Facebook profile appears to show that she previously worked for FNB before starting her own marketing and communications business.
