Unless Vusi is standing for the Green party, the black is missing in his tie !
We have an ANC problem, not just a Zuma or Vusi problem. We are stuck in the do-loop of economic destruction, thanks to a corrupt and un-transformable ANC and a stupefying ignorant electorate who cannot see beyond the ANC false patronage.
This is not meant as an attack but I have frequently read that part of the issue is ignorance among the electorate. How can that issue be addressed? I am asking this in all honesty. Do we need better grassroots efforts so that they can be better informed? Or is there another way? I get it - the ANC is benefiting from the current arrangement. But these are not laws of nature, people's behavior can be changed with time and patience.
In many Wards, they will vote in the existing party again, but within 2 months will, once again, be out protesting about service delivery etc.
As predictable as night follows day. It's a strange and inexplicable phenomenon.
