The invocation of a 1994 law on wiretapping as an argument by the prosecution was insufficient, giving Apple a much-needed legal foundation.

In true Donald Trump campaign style, a TIME magazine photographer was choked and slammed to the ground for stepping 18 inches out of the press box. 'Black Lives Matter' demonstrators were escorted out of the rally to a chorus of "all lives matter". In all, a perfect storm of hysteria leading up to Super Tuesday.

Major Syrian opposition organisations are accusing the regime of breaking an ongoing truce. The violations, which US Secretary of State John Kerry denies as a major destabiliser, are being investigated. The state of the truce so far, it seems, is utterly precarious.
