Presidential debate gets weird and nasty, bombing kills 18 in Turkey, and Brady back with a bang.

“Part of the human condition is that we all think that we are uniquely complex while everyone else is somewhat simpler to read. That is not true, of course. We all have our own dreams and hopes and wants and lust and heartaches. We all have our own brand of crazy”

#RememberKhwezi: Zuma’s rape accuser dies, never having known freedom

She was only 10 when her father, Judson Kuzwayo, ANC stalwart and a man who had spent 10 years as a Robben Island prisoner alongside his friend and comrade, now President Jacob Zuma, died in 1985 in a car crash. Bombing in Turkey kills 18

A car bomb packed with explosives was detonated in southeast Turkey. The van exploded in Hakkari province at a security post, where it refused to stop, resulting in soldiers opening fire on the vehicle, killing 18 people. Turkish authorities have pinned the blame on the Kurdistan Workers' Party. Read More

Tom Brady re-emerges with a bang

New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, has returned to the National Football League (NFL) with a bang. After serving a four-game suspension, Brady clobbered the Cleveland Browns 33-13. Spending a suspension on holiday in Italy probably helped. Read More
