United States government officials may have found a new option to crack the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino shooters. Instead of suing Apple and attempting a legal solution, a third party has demonstrated to the FBI a successful hacking-open of the shooter's style of iPhone.

Mali gunmen storm hotel
Four gunmen have attempted to attack a hotel hosting a European Union military training mission. Owned by the Azalaï Hotels Group, hotel security were able to shoot and kill one attacker, with the remaining three escaping. No guests, it seems, were injured during the assault.
