Wives and mistresses clash over trapped Chilean miners

The Chilean government has created a very awkward situation by offering compensation to the families of the miners trapped 700 metres below ground. At least five wives now know that their husbands kept secret mistresses, after women came forward, claiming compensation for being the trapped men’s secret flames. A Red Cross worker said that they had to pull two of the women apart after things "got physical". Chilean officials are unsure what to do, and have thought of asking the trapped men to identify who may or may not receive benefits from the government. Read more: The Telegraph.
