Dr Alexis Habiyaremye is a senior researcher in the South African Research Chair (SARChI) in Industrial Development, School of Economics, University of Johannesburg. Dr Magdalene Kasyoka Wilson is a senior lecturer in the School of Economics College of Business and Economics at the University of Johannesburg. She is an assistant editor of the Journal of Economic and Management Issues.
