Former newspaper and magazine journalist and editor Erica Platter documents the distinctive dishes, produce, cooks and chefs of her native KZN. The food story books she and photographer-designer Clinton Friedman publish have most recently focused on Durban Curry. She and her husband conceived and published the Platter wine guide for its first 20 years, followed by their wine/travel adventure Africa Uncorked, and Cape wine revisited in My Kind of Wine. Work on a new wine-centric story has just begun.
