Tendai Biti, Greg Mills and Bobi Wine
Bobi Wine, the stage name of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, is a Ugandan politician, singer, and actor, and leader of the National Unity Platform. His life was the subject of a 2022 documentary film entitled Bobi Wine: The People’s President, which was nominated for Best Documentary Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards. He visited Ukraine in August 2022 to record two songs with local artists. He contested the 2021 presidential election against Yoweri Museveni, who has ruled the country since 1986. Tendai Biti is a leader of the Citizen’s Coalition for Change in Zimbabwe, and is a former minister of finance under the unity government between 2009-13. Greg Mills heads The Brenthurst Foundation. All are co-founders of the Platform for African Democrats.
